School Meals
Our lunch break is from 11.30 to 13.00. Children may have a school meal - sandwiches are available through our School caterer, or children may bring a packed lunch from home.
We are delighted to have Hutchison Catering as our new provider, serving quality school meals to our children from September 2022.
Children may switch on to school meals at any time by informing the School Office in advance. Please allow one week's notice. Payment can be made via Appetite. The school office will provide parents with the link to join.
Hutchison would like to hear from you with any feedback, concerns or particular favourites and can manage any food allergies your child may have. Please note we are a nut free school.
Please contact Hutchison with any queries relating directly to the food served at Bramhope on claire@hutchisoncatering.co.uk or speak to your class teacher.

Hutchison operates a 3-week rolling menu. Parents must log onto Appetite to view menus and to place all dinner orders.
School MEALS
All Reception and KS1 pupils are currently entitled to a universal infant free school meal.
School meals for KS2 children must be paid for using the on-line payment system. The cost of a School Meal is £2.50.
Free School Meals / Pupil Premium
You can visit the local authority website to read further information about free school meals, by clicking here. To view and download the application form for free school meals please click here.
Once your child is registered for Free School Meals, the school will be able to claim pupil premium funding. For more information regarding pupil premium, please click in the left column to read more.
For Reception pupils starting in the new academic year, please apply for free school meals when their school education begins in September.
If you receive benefits and your child already gets Universal Infant Free School Meals (ie in Reception, year 1 or year 2), you should still register for free school meals. This is so your school can claim funding to support your child at school.
Foundation and Key Stage 1 Healthy Snacks
Children up to the age of 5 are entitled to a free 189ml carton of milk each day. Once your child turns 5 they can continue to receive a carton of milk for a small charge (currently around £15 per term). This is payable through Cool Milk. If your child qualifies for 'means tested' free school meals then they will also receive milk free of charge. Our school milk provider is Cool Milk. You can visit the Cool Milk website here.
Children are also offered a portion of fruit (free of charge) each day in Reception and Key Stage 1 classes, as the school subscribes to the Government's 'Fruit and Vegetable Scheme'. Parents of children in KS2 may also send fruit or vegetables for break-time.
