Bramhope Primary School has an active PTA involved in organising events to raise money for projects that will benefit the children in our school. 

During the last academic year we successfully raised £14,000 through a number of community-minded events - 

• Our Scarecrow Hunt and Summer Festival raised a whopping £5,500  

• Our Christmas events raised £2500 

• Our Bike Ride at the Brownlee Centre raised over £1400 through sponsorship and attendance 

• Our Preloved Uniform team raised over £800 both great for us and the environment 

• The rest of our fundraising events included End of term Disco, Smartie challenge, Parent nights and Ice cream Fridays! 

All this fundraising has allowed us to purchase some fantastic equipment for the school. In the last few years, we have funded KS1 Outdoor Learning areas, Reception reading corner and play equipment, KS2 large climbing apparatus, subscriptions where the school receives termly current relevant and newly published books and magazines, iPads for in class learning, wildlife garden pond refurbishment, instruments to support music lessons.

Additional events have been suggested, however we can’t run them without additional resources. If you can gather a team and would like to put an event on, we would love to hear from you.
