Increased school places at Bramhope Primary School
The Collaborative Learning Trust, working in partnership with Leeds City Council, consulted on a proposed expansion of Bramhope Primary School, permanently increasing the number of places offered in Reception from 40 to 60 from September 2022.
A temporary bulge cohort of 20 additional Reception places was placed at the school for September 2020. To manage ongoing demand ahead of the proposed permanent expansion, 20 additional Reception places were again be offered at the school on a temporary (bulge) basis for September 2021.
The Executive Board of Leeds City Council considered the proposal at its meeting on 17th March 2021 and determined that provisional approval be granted for funding (authority to spend) to deliver the proposed permanent expansion at Bramhope Primary School.

Outcome of Consultation
Following consultation, Leeds City Council have agreed to expand Bramhope Primary School, by permanently increasing the number of Reception places from 40 to 60, from September 2022. This will gradually increase the overall capacity of the school from 280 to 420 pupils.
Leeds City Council and Leeds Local Education Partnership (LLEP) submitted a planning application for proposed construction works at Bramhope Primary School.
